First of all, this couple is pure gold and it was no surprise that their families were equally amazing. We first met when I took their engagement photos several months ago. Chris' mom and their dog, Shepherd were special guests at the engagement session... and their sweet pup made it into a few photos.
It didn't take too long for them to make me feel like a part of the family too, as the groom's sister Katie and I become friends instantly!
Lela and Chris were married this fall at the always picture perfect, Primrose Cottage. There were so many special elements of their wedding. One of my favorites was that Lela's mother made her wedding dress by hand! What a beautiful and special keepsake she will treasure for a lifetime.
They chose to have their first look at the fountain in the back of the historic home.
Shepard (their awesome dog), absolutely needed to make his way into a few shots. He even served as the "Best Dog".
Shortly after their first look, we captured some family portraits at the front of the home.
The ceremony also took place at the back of the house just before the sun set for the evening. Lighting was soft and just beautiful!
The couple hosted an amazing reception in the Primrose ballroom following their ceremony. I may have managed to dance a little and get in a few shots;-)
Congratulations Lela and Chris! We wish you all the happiness in the world!
